If you use any ink intended for coated material like iq2392a, collins max 2, sfm aqueous,, then you need these! We were throwing away half empty cartridges all the time. I called and Jeff told me to try the rx wipes and store the ink in a tupperware container with a damp cloth. We were able to revive some old ones we were going to toss out, and now we have little to no problem restarting. It also seems to help if you clean the cartridge with the rx wipe before you store them!
