The C8842A Versatile Black print cartridge contains a pigment-based ink that produces exceptional results on coated media. This innovation in HP inkjet technology has been specially designed and manufactured for use in industrial printing markets and is a replacement for HP 51645A or HP 45.
The Versatile Black print cartridge is a reliable, 100% tested product for printing on both porous and non-porous coated media. The Versatile Black print cartridge offers a solution for a variety of printing operations. This print cartridge is fast drying and can handle high printing speeds on both porous and coated media. For best results on coated media, a heater should be used. This print cartridge provides print quality without transfer and without the need to change cartridges between media. It even prints on Tyvek®.

Clogs up too fast

Works and looks great but it clogs up too fast. We got some SFM42 with the machine we purchased and love the ink and the machine for that matter! Too often we leave the ink in the machine overnight. But it stil works after we purge it. Thanks John for a great deal and sending the ink with the machine!

The price was so low I thought for sure they were recycled! We were paying $28.95 ea when ordering 80 at a time,, so you know how happy we are, that we found you! Thanks Again! SN

This is more a comment on the store itself! Every order has been on time or faster than expected. We ordered at 5 pm est and some how they still got it out the same day. They sent us a free sample of sfm42 and have switched from c8842a. We have never had a problem with c8842a but saving $10 per cartridge is always good!
