Frequently Asked Questions
Are these cartridges chipped?
Yes. All EASYInk AS-series cartridges are chipped and will only function in compatible AS-450, AS-650, and AS-850 printers. They will not work in older AS-series models or other printer brands.
How do I choose the right EASYInk formula?
Match the formula to your media: Coated Plus for coated stocks, Versario for general mixed media, Aqueous Plus for aqueous varnished envelopes, Fast Black for speed-critical runs, UltraSolv for non-porous surfaces, and UltraUV for UV coated or challenging non-porous substrates. What is EASYInk Invisible?
EASYInk Invisible (ASINKHPINV) is a UV-responsive security ink that is invisible to the naked eye but glows under UV/black light. It is used for security marking, authentication, and applications where a printed mark must be concealed from normal viewing.
Are these the same formulas as Formax AP ink?
The EASYInk formulas (Coated Plus, Versario, Aqueous Plus, Fast Black, UltraSolv, UltraUV) share the same ink chemistry as the corresponding Formax AP-series inks, but the cartridges are a different form factor with different chips. They are not interchangeable between the AS-series and AP-series printers.
